Savor

From Oxford Dictionary (verb [transitive], savour in British English)

1. To enjoy the full taste or flavour of something, especially by eating or drinking it slowly

2. To enjoy a feeling or an experience thoroughly

¿How do we savor?

We savor by enjoying the whole eating experience. Experimenting with the 5 senses discovering new tastes, textures, sensations ... Eating with mindfulness and connecting with the body and its real needs. NO DIETS, NO RULES, NO "RIGHT" or "WRONG" . Only reconnecting with the natural tools of our body and mind. Being aware of what we eat and how it affects to ourselves and the environment. Learning to recognise and choose food that nourishes us physically and emotionally.

But we can also savor more things than the experience with food.  We can savor the whole PRESENT enjoying it thoroughly, fully. Awaking our senses, paying attention and realize the many opportunities that exist in the present moment. Rediscovering and observing it with curiosity. As if we were observing the world as we did when we were children, as if we saw it for the first time. Being mindful and exploring what surrounds us, but also ourselves.

Welcome to the exploration of savoring the present!
